Job Description
The job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Procurement Planning & Purchase Order Management –
- Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly procurement plans aligned with production schedules and plant requirements.
- Issue, monitor, and manage purchase orders (POs) with accuracy in specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other plant functions to ensure timely fulfilment of the material requirements.
Vendor Development & Relationship Management-
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen supply chain resilience and reduce dependency risks.
- Conduct regular supplier assessments covering quality, delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
- Maintain healthy and professional relationships with vendors, ensuring timely resolution of supply issues.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including bulk procurement, vendor consolidation, and long-term contracts.
ERP, Compliance & Data Accuracy-
- Ensure all procurement, inventory, and stores transactions are recorded in the ERP system with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor data integrity and address discrepancies promptly to maintain reliable reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all import/export documentation, statutory requirements, and customs regulations.
- Maintain audit-ready records for internal, external, and statutory inspections.
MIS, Reporting & Budgeting –
- Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports on purchase status, stock levels, consumption patterns, supplier performance, and cost savings achieved.
- Provide actionable insights to management for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process by providing accurate material cost forecasts and consumption estimates.
- Track budget utilization and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.
- Liaise with Production, Projects, Quality, Engineering, and Finance for integrated procurement planning and problem resolution.
- Participate in plant expansion or new project material readiness, including stores setup and vendor contracts.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans, maintaining alternate suppliers for critical materials.
- Support internal, external, and ISO audits ensuring timely closure of non-conformities.
- Drive process improvements in procurement and inventory management for enhanced efficiency, cost control, and operational excellence.

Candidates from Rotational Moulding Products manufacturing Industry like Fuel tanks, Water tanks, Chemical Spray tanks, Automobile products will be preferred
