Quality – Engineer

Job Description

The job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Inspection and Testing: : 

• Inspect and test raw materials, components, and finished products.  
• Ensure compliance with quality specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.  
• Monitor and track quality metrics, including defect rates and customer feedback.  

Process Improvement: : 

• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and workflows.  
• Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce defects.  

Documentation and Reporting: : 

• Document quality assurance activities, including inspection results, testing procedures, and CAPA plans.  
• Prepare quality reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.  

Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis: : 

• Investigate product complaints and quality issues to identify root causes and develop solutions.  
• Utilize problem-solving methodologies, such as the 8D method, to address quality issues effectively.  
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to address recurring issues.  

Supplier Management: : 

• Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.  
• Conduct supplier audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.  
• Review and validate supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions. 

Mandatory Requirements: 

1. Strong in use of technology at work like MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint, ERP etc.  
2. Excellent English and Marathi communication – both written and verbal.  
3. Experience in managing difficult scenarios and conversations with diplomacy and tact  
4. Is organised and keeps the management and team updated on all matters  
5. Is assertive and can work under pressure, if required  
6. Adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation and its people  
7. Experience in handling internal audits and closing audit observations  
8. Experience in handling customer audits and closing audit observations  
9. Is hands-on on work assigned to him and is able to work well in a team
   

Preferred Experience:: 

Candidates from Rotational Moulding Products manufacturing Industry like Fuel tanks, Water tanks, Chemical Spray tanks, Automobile products will be preferred
